Warm & Fuzzies is a machine-knit piece inspired by life’s warm and fuzzy moments—the kind that make you nostalgic. It’s the feeling of the best kiss you’ve ever had, the warmth of a fire on a cold night, singing in the car with friends, lazy Sundays, or wrapping yourself in your coziest sweater. 

Knit on a standard Silver Reed machine with mohair yarn, this knitted painting explores striping, ladders, and color mixing. The composition consists of panels featuring two and three-color striping, which were linked together using a linker. Single-stitch panels were layered with laddered strips and stretched over a batting-covered base, mounted on 24” x 36” wooden stretcher bars.
